DAY RIDES - 5 Hour Picnic Treks

Saturday 23rd May 11am 2026 4 places

Available between May and September. Riders must be physically fit, ride on a regular basis and able to walk trot and canter.

Bring your own Picnic & drink. (You will need to hold your horse whilst eating so finger food is best).

We have numerous different routes, Creswell Crags, which is a limestone gorge dotted with caves

dating back to the Ice Age and also Shirebrook Woods which has quiet bridlepaths lined with

pine trees.

We can also incorporate any of the above rides into a riding holiday so that you have a different route each day. (You organise your own accommodation).

Enjoy a scenic trek through the forest or Country Park and have a stop off at a local pub for afternoon tea (must be able to walk trot and canter).

Sample a selection of freshly made tasty sandwiches, home baked jam & cream scones and a delicious choice of mini deserts. All served with tea or coffee.

(vegetation option available but not Vegan)

TINSEL TREKS

Come for a little festive fun dressed in your Best Tinsel, Christmas Jumpers or even fancy dress!!  Several lengths of treks available for both beginner and experienced riders. Sample a little winter warmer and a yummy festive sweetener.

CORPORATE TEAM BUILDING DAYS

Why not try a different outdoors approach to team building.  Sample a new sporting skill, forge team bonds with your colleagues, have some outrageous FUN!!!  Our corporate day is a great experience. 

Get up close with the horses, learn how you can interact with them.  Groom and tack up your own horse then enjoy a trek out with your colleagues.

Develop your team skills in our mounted games (great for a laugh), and as we all know, laughter is the best medicine. There is nothing better. You will enjoy many a good laugh with your friends and work colleagues. A corporate team building day that is thoroughly enjoyable.
